Edge Computing Engineer
Job Title: Edge Computing Engineer Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Department: IoT / Cloud Infrastructure
Overview Design/deploy low-latency edge solutions for IoT, 5G, and industrial applications in Chennai’s smart manufacturing and energy hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect edge platforms/gateways for constrained environments.
- Implement real-time pipelines, AI/ML inference (TensorFlow Lite).
- Integrate with hybrid cloud (AWS Greengrass/Azure IoT Edge).
- Optimize bandwidth/power/security.
- Deploy containers (Docker/K3s), monitor performance.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years in distributed/IoT/edge systems.
- Proficiency in Python/C++, containers, networking.
Preferred
- AI edge, cybersecurity, 5G.
