SCADA / Telemetry Engineer
Job Title: SCADA / Telemetry Engineer Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Department: Industrial Control Systems
Overview Design/maintain SCADA/telemetry systems for utilities, energy, and industrial processes in Chennai (strong demand from substation/power projects).
Key Responsibilities
- Configure SCADA platforms (Ignition/WinCC) and RTUs/PLCs.
- Implement protocols (DNP3/Modbus/IEC 61850/OPC UA).
- Develop HMIs, alarms, historians.
- Ensure cybersecurity (NERC CIP/IEC 62443), redundancy.
- Commissioning, testing, troubleshooting.
- Support operations/compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Control Engineering.
- 5–10+ years SCADA/ICS experience.
- Expertise in PLCs, protocols, databases, networking.
- Cybersecurity knowledge.
Preferred
- Hitachi/Siemens platforms, substation projects.
Compensation: Competitive (₹10–25 LPA).
